Tom Foote, a Southern California native, has litigated and arbitrated a wide variety of disputes in federal and state courts and ADR organizations. He has been involved in multiple insurance coverage cases, breach of contract and payment disputes, legal malpractice, personal injury cases, and intellectual property matters, including patent and “theft of idea” cases. Well-versed in state and federal civil procedure, Tom believes in the value of tactical yet thorough case preparation and research in order to build the best possible foundation for trial or settlement of a dispute.

Tom graduated from law school at the University of Southern California in 1990 (where he served on the Southern California Law Review), and before that, was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of U.C.L.A.  Tom is fluent in German.  Outside of the office, he is an avid cyclist and runner.
