Browning-Ferris Industries of California, Inc., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 24STCV17634. Case Overview

The lawsuit was filed alleging various claims related to the release of harmful chemicals from the Sunshine Canyon Landfill. If you haven’t yet received a copy of the Complaint filed in this case, please contact our office. It’s essential that you confirm your name and the names of any household members participating in the action appear on the Complaint. If a name is missing, that individual is not considered a plaintiff in the action and is not represented by our firm in connection with the Sunshine Landfill case. If you notice any discrepancies, please reach out to us immediately.

Case Relation and Management

Since the filing, your case has been related to a previously filed Sunshine Landfill case titled Mark Marquez v. Browning-Ferris Industries of California, Inc., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 24STCV05066, as well as other similar Sunshine Landfill cases. This means that your case, along with others, will be heard simultaneously in the same department, with the same judge presiding. This common procedure in mass plaintiff actions allows the court to manage the cases more efficiently. Rest assured, our firm will represent you at all scheduled hearings.
